Hazel von Hage is a beautiful 2 year old German Shepherd on the smaller-side (under 50 lbs).  Her sweet face and soulful eyes are matched by a calm and quiet temperament that gives way to a silly, playful pup once she has acclimated to your home. Hazel looks to her fur buddies for guidance and confidence in navigating a new home environment, but quickly blossoms into a warm companion for her human family.  Like any quintessential shepherd, she’s a very quick learner – mastering the doggie door and taking cues from her foster brother and sister on where to ‘do her business’ – and even sleeps quietly all night with her pack from the very first night.  This remarkably versatile girl also enjoys her walks in the neighborhood, paying no attention to the yappy dogs she encounters along the way, all the while demonstrating stellar leash manners to the delight of her foster mom.  Hazel would most appreciate a quieter home with a relaxed environment, but tells us that she is a YES for your kitties.  If you are looking for a fairly easy gal, and can offer her some time and patience to acclimate, please ask for Hazel!
